Dana graduated from Sage College court reporting school located in Riverside, California in 2003 with a 4.0 average in academic studies.  During her court reporting education, she was mentored in the Hutchings Court Reporters, LLC Mentor Program, and, as a student, participated in the local chapter of CCRA.  As a student/teacher, Dana taught the Theory Extension class for the evening court reporting program at Sage College.  Dana also participated in the mock trials at the Orange County Courthouse in Santa Ana, California.  She completed all of her state-required court hours at the Shasta County Courthouse and continued to sit in for several court hours after they were completed.    

 Dana began working as a stenographer shortly after graduation and has continued to grow and gain experience in all related areas.  In addition to her basic court reporting education, her knowledge has been expanded through research while preparing transcripts from taped interviews of suspects, victims, and witnesses.                 

Dana has produced transcripts from cassette, mini-cassette, and digital recordings, as well as video tape recordings.  She is currently using the Total Eclipse Court Reporting Software, a Stentura 8000LX stenograph machine, a Panasonic VSC transcription machine for regular cassettes, an Olympus Pearlcorder for mini-cassettes, and Express Scribe for digital transcription work.               

Combined with her background of 15 years in the travel industry, Dana brings with her a wealth of sales and customer service training.  She is very familiar with expedite work and remains motivated to meet agreed-upon deadlines.  She is a can-do person and gets the job done.  Dana returned to Redding in August 2005 and has settled firmly into the community with her three children.

Carol is a graduate of Argonaut School of Court Reporting in Sacramento, CA.  As a student, she worked as an office manager and scopist for American River Deposition Reporters in Sacramento and provided transcription services to two Sacramento firms that contracted with the State of California to transcribe life term board parole hearings. 

Carol is a member of CCRA and NCRA and completed her court and deposition hours in Shasta County at the Shasta County Courthouse and the following deposition firms:  Challe and Fisher, Inc. and Benson and Associates. 

She attends DRA and CCRA conventions to stay up on current technology and increase her knowledge in the field of reporting. 

Carol is currently using Case CATalyst software, the Stenograph élan Mira A3 writing machine, a Sony BM-87DST Dictator/Transcriber for cassettes, and Express Scribe software for digital transcription. 

In addition, Carol brings her 17 years experience in customer service, operations, personnel, training, and sales for 130 optical retail locations, as well as commission-based executive recruiting experience.  She is attuned to the needs of the client and prides herself in creating a superb final product.
